Lucky you!  You’ve found a guy worth keeping hold of!  I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that was the easy part.  I know, it’s a depressing thought, but all the work is worth it, right?  The truth is, there are too few ways to get a man and too many ways to lose him.

The whole man, woman, relationship thing is a tricky business, and it’s easy to make mistakes.  Especially when your heads all mushed up with the ‘love thing’.  Here’s seven FATAL mistakes that can make a man go, and unless you think you might be changing your mind about him soon, you might want to read on.

• NEVER take Love for Granted.  Relationships need constant attention, if you really want them to work.  Make sure you spend some quality time together.  We all know it can be easy to get caught up with work and running a house, but, with a little effort, things will move along nicely.  Try to do someone extra special, even, once a week.  It will make all the difference.
• NEVER turn into someone else.  We all drool over the magazines and dream of looking as glamorous as the celebrities.  That’s why there are so many magazines full of ’celebrity’ makeovers and beauty tips of the stars  But leave it there.  A drastic change could leave him reeling, and even see you differently.  Especially if you start refusing a kiss because of your new lipstick.  He loves you the way you are, so just look after yourself and remember that.
• NEVER keep going on about children and marriage.  Enjoy this fun part of your relationship and let things take their natural course.  Constantly nagging about it won’t make it happen.
• NEVER loose your dignity.  Bad manners, like burping or drinking too much.  Keep a check on your social skills and make sure you can hold you head up.
• NEVER speak ill of his parents.  Enough said.
• NEVER go out of your way to make him jealous.  It just simply doesn’t work.  All it will achieve is causing un-necessary arguments, and that’s never helpful to any relationships.  There are enough problems to work through, without creating more.
• NEVER keep comparing your man to your EX.  For example, Harry had an important job and did this and that.  That’s could be interpreted as you think he doesn’t.  Or saying, he was SO funny.  As in, he’s not.

Along the same lines, no going on about, me and my ex did this, me and my ex did that.  You could soon find he stops trying to do anything for you at all.  Why do you think he would be interested?  If you do start that one and make him defensive, you could end up in a really crazy situation.  Like a drip in a bucket of water  Eventually it will fill up and spill over.  Like your mother always said, it will only end in tears.  And that’s the last word when it comes to the seven fatal Mistakes that can make your man go.
